Murphy Troy

Murphy Troy is a sales professional with a robust background in data analytics and enterprise account management. Currently serving as a member of the sales staff at Databricks since June 2024, Murphy previously held the position of Enterprise Account Executive at Tabular, contributing to the adoption of Apache Iceberg and scalable data lake solutions. Prior roles include Account Executive at dbt Labs and Sisense, where the focus was on custom analytic experiences and actionable intelligence. Murphy’s career in sales began at Alteryx, where contributions were made in both commercial and enterprise account executive roles, along with a foundation as a Sales Development Representative. Before entering the tech industry, Murphy was a distinguished athlete, winning a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics and the 2015 World Cup as part of USA Volleyball. Murphy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the University of Southern California.
