Nathaniel Balston

Nathaniel Balston is a seasoned sales operations professional with extensive experience in the technology and communication sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Sales Intelligence at Databricks since March 2020, Nathaniel previously held the role of Business Intelligence Manager in the Central Finance Office at Inmarsat from April 2018 to March 2020. Nathaniel's career at Inmarsat also includes positions as Business Intelligence and Sales Planning Manager, Chief of Staff to the Business Unit President, and Sales Operations Manager. Nathaniel began in the Global Government Market Development Internship at Inmarsat in 2012, where skills in analytical thinking and channel strategy design were honed. Earlier experience includes a research placement at Durham University and an administrative assistant role at BBC Worldwide. Nathaniel holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Durham University, completed in 2011.
