Nicolas Maillard

Nicolas Maillard is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in data engineering and management. Currently serving as TechGM and Area VP of Field Engineering at Databricks since February 2019, Nicolas has held multiple leadership positions, including Area VP Field Engineering and Senior Director Field Engineering. Prior to Databricks, Nicolas led solution engineering efforts at Hortonworks and played a critical role in establishing the company's presence in France. Nicolas's earlier career included project management roles at 55 | fifty-five, Qwam content intelligence, and Yoono, along with co-founding and serving as chief software architect at RTGI. Nicolas's technical expertise is complemented by a Master's degree in Computer Science from Université de Technologie de Compiègne and international experience through visiting roles at Chiba University and Stanford University.
