Patrick Putnam is a highly experienced data scientist with a strong background in data architecture and engineering. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Databricks since December 2020, Patrick has previously held roles including Staff Engineer - Data Science and Senior Data Architect at GE Aviation, where significant contributions were made to enhance internal data ecosystems and develop Spark-based functionalities. Additional experience includes consulting on data science projects with Illumination Works, performing bioinformatics research at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, and software engineering roles at Interactive Intelligence and GE. Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering and a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Cincinnati.
