Simon Peter Johnston

Simon Peter Johnston is an Artificial Intelligence leader currently serving as the Director of Artificial Intelligence for the Asia Pacific and Japan region at Databricks. With over two decades of global experience, Simon has specialized in AI strategy and economics, focusing on Generative AI adoption across various industries, including Energy and Telecommunications. Prior roles included leadership positions at Amazon Web Services and Accenture, where Simon drove AI/ML initiatives and innovation. Simon also contributed to academia as a part-time lecturer and engaged in advanced research on neural networks as a postgraduate at the University of Ulster.
