Steffen Grarup

Steffen Grarup has a strong background in engineering, with experience spanning several renowned companies. Steffen served as a Senior Director of Engineering at Databricks since 2023. Prior to this, they held a similar role at Uber Technologies for nearly a decade. Steffen'scareer also includes roles as a Director of R&D at VMware, a Software Architect at Esmertec, and a Co-founder at OOVM and Entise Systems. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Sun Microsystems, a Staff Engineer at Animorphic Systems, and a Software Engineer at Credit Suisse.

Steffen Grarup completed a B.Sc. in Economics and Mathematics from Aarhus University in 1990. Steffen then went on to earn an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the same university in 1993.
