Tan Zhang

Tan Zhang is an Engineering Manager at Databricks, where they currently work on a cloud compute platform. Previously, Tan held positions at Moveworks as a Senior Engineering Manager and at Snap Inc. as an Engineering Manager, where they led teams in building large-scale infrastructure for enterprise search and content moderation, respectively. Tan's diverse experience includes roles at Google as a Senior Software Engineer and multiple research internships, including at Microsoft Research and Alcatel-Lucent. Tan earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.
