Tristan Partin

Tristan Partin is a highly experienced software engineer with a diverse background in technical roles across several companies. Currently serving as a Member of the Technical Staff at Databricks since June 2025, Tristan previously contributed as a Software Engineer at Neon, focusing on upstream Postgres development and enhancements for Postgres upgrades. Prior experience includes a position at Micron Technology as a Staff Software Engineer, integrating the Heterogeneous-Memory Storage Engine with MongoDB, and roles at Expero where Tristan advanced TypeScript/Node.js microservices and developed tools for time tracking and curriculum. Internships at National Instruments and Booz Allen Hamilton provided foundational experience in software engineering and database management, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University.
