Vida Ha

Vida Ha is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and field roles. Currently serving as AVP Field Engineering at Databricks since July 2014, Vida has held multiple leadership positions including Sr Director of Field Engineering and Enterprise Presales Architect, specializing in Spark and Big Data solutions. Previously, Vida worked as a Software Engineer at Square, contributing to the scaling of the Reporting Backend, and co-founded IFeelGoods, leading the Promotions Backend Engineering effort for over 70 retail clients. Prior roles included Senior Software Engineer at Google, focusing on mobile speech and web search infrastructure, and Member of the Technical Staff at Oracle, enhancing mobile email functionalities. Vida's early career includes positions as a Draper Fellow and a summer intern at IBM Research, complemented by a strong educational background from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, holding both BS and MEng degrees in Computer Science.
