Vikas Jain

Vikas Jain is a skilled software engineer with a robust background in developing innovative data solutions. Currently at Databricks since January 2023, Vikas works on Lakebase, a next-generation OLTP database based on Postgres. Previously, Vikas contributed to Granica from January 2022 to January 2023, focusing on a product designed to enable secure and efficient storage of large volumes of unstructured data for enterprises. Prior experience includes a five-year tenure at Rubrik, Inc., where Vikas built a petabyte-scale versioned key-value store for public cloud, known internally as Colossus. Vikas holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
