Xiaotong Sun

Xiaotong (XT) Sun is currently an Engineering Manager at Databricks, where they lead the Unity Catalog team in developing governance solutions for data and AI. Previously, they served as a Staff Software Engineer, directing a team of 10 to create an enterprise data sharing platform, and contributed significantly as a founding engineer on Unity Catalog and Delta Sharing. Xiaotong interned as a Software Developer at eBay Inc and worked as a Research Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. They also gained valuable experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Google, focusing on identity, authentication, and security. Xiaotong holds an education from Carnegie Mellon University.
