Xinyu Yang

Xinyu Yang is a Software Engineer currently working at Databricks since December 2023, with prior experience at Google from March 2020 to December 2023, where contributions were made in the Chrome Infra Security team, focusing on Insider Risk and Supply Chain Security and winning the Engineering Excellence Award for implementing SLSA in Chrome. Xinyu also interned as an iOS Software Engineer at ByteDance in 2019, working on the development of TikTok AdStudio, and served as a Junior Research Assistant at the Network and Information Security Laboratory at Beijing Institute of Technology, contributing to a password inference system. Xinyu holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia, completed an exchange program at Leiden University, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Internet of Things Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.
