Yang Tang

Yang Tang is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry, currently employed at Databricks since May 2022. Prior to this role, Yang worked at Grubhub from April 2017 to May 2022, where significant contributions included developing a scalable dispatch system for millions of daily deliveries and designing a decision modeling framework for data scientists. Yang's earlier experience as a graduate research assistant at Northwestern University saw the invention of a technique for characterizing anisotropic conductivity in thin films and delivering educational instruction to large groups of students. Yang holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Microelectronics from Peking University.
