Ying Liao

Ying "Ian" Liao is a Field Engineering Specialist Solution Architect in Healthcare and Life Science at Databricks, a position held since 2023. Previously, they worked as a Senior Data Architect at Amazon Web Services from 2020 to 2023 and co-founded Orderock Corporation in 2018. Ying also founded Nanyu Technology and served as its Executive Director and CTO from 2016 to 2018. They earned a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, where they were also a Teaching Assistant between 2006 and 2008.
