Yuming Qiao

Yuming Qiao is a Senior Software Engineer at Databricks, having joined in December 2021, where responsibilities include building infrastructure for managing both untrusted and trusted workloads on Kubernetes as part of the Dblet team. Prior to this role, Yuming worked at Shift from August 2019 to December 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on machine learning infrastructure, including setting up an ML inference service and developing APIs for communication. Earlier experience includes software engineering internships at Google and a teaching assistant role at the University of California, San Diego. Yuming holds a Master of Science in Machine Learning & Intelligent Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, both from UC San Diego.
