Zac Davies is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in solutions architecture and data consultancy. Currently serving as Lead Solutions Architect at Databricks since January 2021, Zac has progressed through various roles including Senior and Solutions Architect. Prior to Databricks, Zac held positions at DSpark as Principal and Senior Data Science Consultant, and co-founded Smrtr, focusing on data management and analytics. Additional experience includes contracting as a Data Scientist at Pacific Analytics PTY LTD and consulting for Health Policy Analysis. Zac began the career as an Honours student at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Genetics & Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in the Applications of Machine Learning to Parkinson's Disease, both obtained from UNSW.
