Steven Armstrong

Steven Armstrong has extensive work experience in various roles related to infrastructure, data engineering, and solution architecture. Steven is currently the Head of Infrastructure and Data Engineering at DataCamp. Prior to this, they worked at Just Eat Takeaway.com as a Principal Engineer (Solution Architect)/ Head Of Level, where they designed and built a global reference architecture and provided technical solutions for cross-department projects. Steven also worked at Paddy Power Betfair as a Principal DevOps Automation Engineer/Technical Lead, leading the migration of over 500 production applications onto a new platform. Steven held the position of DevOps Manager at Thomsons Online Benefits and worked as a DevOps Engineer at the same company. Additionally, Steven worked at Cofunds as a Senior Configuration Management Engineer, where they designed and automated the build and deployment processes for various applications. Steven began their career at Accenture, working as a Configuration Management Architect and leading teams in automating build and deployment processes for various technology stacks.

From 2002 to 2006, Steven Armstrong attended the University of Strathclyde, where they pursued a degree in Computer and Electronic Systems (BEng) with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
