Adam Eggum

Adam Eggum has a diverse work experience. Adam is currently employed at DataCapable as a Lead Software Engineer since April 2019. Prior to that, they worked at IBM Cloud Object Storage (previously Cleversafe, Inc.) as a Software Developer from January 2013 to April 2019. In this role, they designed and developed software solutions for a distributed system with hundreds or thousands of nodes. Adam was responsible for handling and generating events, collecting statistics, and formalizing configuration across multiple nodes simultaneously while ensuring reliability. Adam had the freedom to come up with dynamic solutions to fill gaps in documentation. Previously, Adam worked at Sentry Insurance as a Programmer Analyst Associate from May 2012 to December 2012. In this role, they developed a new system for insurance agents to access a separate web service and worked with the entire technology stack including back-end with Hibernate and SQL, front-end with Struts/Spring, Java, and JavaScript. Adam collaborated with business and application development teams. Adam also worked at UW-Madison Financial Aid Office as a Website/IT/Developer from March 2011 to May 2012.

Adam Eggum obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Sciences with a general focus from the University of Wisconsin, where they studied from 2009 to 2012.
