Dione Mentis

Dione Mentis is currently the Project Lead for Community Metadata Enrichment at DataCite, where they coordinate initiatives focused on metadata enrichment and community collaboration. Dione's previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at the Coko Foundation, where they led the development of open-source publishing platforms, and Publishing Manager at Electric Book Works, where they gained expertise in digital-first book production. They also have extensive experience in educational publishing in South Africa, working with notable organizations such as Pearson. Dione holds a BA from the University of Cape Town and has completed various professional development courses.
