Chris Miller

Chris Miller is a cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in solution architecture and security consulting. Currently serving as a Principal Cybersecurity Consultant at Datacom since January 2022, Chris has previously held roles such as Senior Information Security Advisor at the Ministry of Social Development from November 2019 to December 2021 and Security Architect at the Bank of New Zealand from May 2018 to November 2019. Additional experience includes contract-based Security Architect and Solution Architect roles across various organizations. Key contributions encompass the security and architecture of internal and internet-facing Google Search Appliances, as well as the development of innovative solutions, such as a proof of concept utilizing NFC technology. Chris holds a BSc (Hons) in Electronics Engineering from the University of Cape Town, obtained between 1998 and 2001.
