Darryl Taylor

Darryl Taylor has extensive experience in the IT and database management sectors, currently serving as the Business Operations Manager for Growth Practices at Datacom since June 2010. Darryl's roles have included overseeing Oracle and Universal Database Services in Australia and New Zealand, managing a team of over 60 Database Administrators across various technologies, and leading Unix Services and Database Projects teams. Prior to Datacom, Darryl held significant positions at Housing New Zealand Corporation, overseeing platform services and acting as Principal DBA. Darryl began a career in technology at Telecom New Zealand, progressing from an Analyst Programmer to a Database Administrator and Senior Consultant at Oracle. Darryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Otago.
