Gary Wagener

Gary Wagener has an extensive background in IT security and network management, currently serving as IT Security Manager at Datacom since June 2001. In this role, Gary focuses on growing and developing skills within the security space. Previously, Gary was a Team Leader at Datacom’s Network Management Centre, maintaining strong hands-on security expertise while transitioning into managerial duties. Prior to Datacom, Gary worked as a Senior Security Analyst at National Bank, managing network assets and role-based security systems for banking infrastructure. Gary's educational background includes attending New Plymouth Boys High School from 1973 to 1976.
