Marcel Rafter

Marcel Rafter is an experienced professional in cloud and IT management with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Cloud Executive at Datacom since November 2018, Marcel specializes in business development and hybrid cloud sales. Prior to this role, Marcel was the Program Director at NZ Data Commons, focused on investment case and program development, and held several positions at Dimension Data New Zealand, including Senior Manager for the IT as a Service business unit and Consulting Services Team Lead. Earlier experience includes IT Project Manager at Transpower New Zealand and Senior Technical Architect at VIA Networks, along with a role as System Management Specialist at Unisys. Marcel holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Information Science from the University of Otago.
