Michael Binney is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy risk analysis, pricing strategy, and commercial consulting across various prominent companies. Binney began a career at Todd Energy as an Energy/Market Analyst, progressing to roles at Contact Energy Ltd, where significant contributions were made as an Energy Risk Analyst and Strategy Markets Analyst. Following a tenure at Powerco as Gas Revenue and Pricing Manager, Binney served as Senior Pricing/Decision Support Specialist and later Pricing/Decision Support Management Chapter Lead at Spark New Zealand. Currently, Binney is the Pricing and Commercial Lead for ANZ at Datacom, focusing on profitable pricing strategies informed by robust data analysis.
