Michael Clarke

Michael Clarke is an experienced professional currently serving as an Atlassian Consultant at Datacom since April 2022 and as an Atlassian Community Leader in Auckland since July 2022, where the focus is on fostering community engagement within the Atlassian Ecosystem. With a significant background in military communications, Michael has been a Communications Warfare Specialist and Projects Officer with the Royal New Zealand Navy since January 2014, transitioning from regular force to reserves while contributing to the Innovation Centre. Previous roles include consultancy at Catch Software and Erudite Software, with early experience as a software tester and managing director in telecommunications. Michael holds a Bachelor of International Communication from Unitec, alongside several certifications in IT and maritime studies.
