Richard Smith

Richard Smith is an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in financial solutions, particularly in the Ambit Asset Finance product, having held positions at Datacom, FIS, and SunGard. Currently serving as a Business Analyst at Datacom since August 2016, Richard has also previously coordinated extensive client projects, demonstrating leadership in design and collaboration with teams of designers, developers, and testers. With a progressive career that began in 1983 as a Primary School Teacher, Richard transitioned through roles in programming and analytical positions at companies such as Manufact Data Systems and Jade Software Corporation, ultimately achieving the role of Senior Business Analyst. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from The University of Auckland and a Dip Teaching from Auckland Teachers College.
