Sam Desborough

Sam Desborough is a Senior System Engineer at Datacom, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this, Sam served as a Senior Backup Engineer at NEC Australia from January 2015 to December 2021, specializing in Spectrum Protect (TSM), Commvault, and NetApp technologies. Sam's earlier experience includes roles as a Technology Consultant and Technical Consultant at HP Enterprise Services, where support for various storage and backup solutions was provided on multiple accounts in South Australia. Sam began a career with E.ON IS GmbH, progressing through several positions, including Technical Analyst in the Backup Management Team and Unix Hosting Technical Analyst, where skills in TSM management and various scripting languages were developed. Educational qualifications include a degree in Computer Science from Loughborough University and multiple GCSEs and A-Level certifications from Montagu School.
