Jonathan Cowan

Jonathan Cowan has over 20 years of experience in sales and leadership roles in the software and manufacturing industries. Jonathan is currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Datacor, Inc. since September 2022. Prior to this, they were the CRO at MachineMetrics from July 2021 to August 2022, where they successfully rebuilt the sales team and implemented value-based selling principles, resulting in significant growth and increased ICV.

Before joining MachineMetrics, Jonathan worked at Plex Systems, Inc. from 2010 to 2021, holding various positions including Vice President of Sales and Sales Director. As the Vice President of Sales, they led the sales team and was responsible for sales strategy development and execution. During their tenure at Plex Systems, Inc., they achieved consistent year-over-year growth and nearly doubled the business, driving a 91% growth.

Prior to that, Jonathan worked as a Senior Account Executive at CDC Software (now Aptean) from 2005 to 2010, and as the North America Sales and Channel Manager at Profitbase in 2005. At Profitbase, they developed the sales strategy and market channels for a Business Performance Management start-up software company.

Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked as an Account Executive at Invensys Marcam / SSA Global and as a Territory Sales Engineer at Siemens Energy & Automation.
