Steve Brown

Steve Brown currently serves as the Director of Strategy R&D for the Engineering Software Group at Datacor, Inc., a position held since August 2025. Prior to this role, Steve was with CHEMCAD, a Datacor product, from January 1994 to August 2025, where leadership included positions such as President, CEO, COO, and VP of Sales & Marketing. Responsibilities included overseeing the Chemstations division after its acquisition by Datacor in June 2021, managing all day-to-day operations, and directing global sales and marketing initiatives. Steve's technical career began as a Business Development Manager and Technical Support Engineer, providing sales and support within the chemical engineering sector. Steve holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston.
