Martin Downey

Martin Downey has over 20 years of experience in software engineering. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as a Computer Programmer at Unibol, where they were a member of the team that implemented the Report Program Generator (RPG) embedded SQL engine and assumed ownership of the Windows installer for Unibol 400 product. From 2000 to 2013, they worked at NYSE Technologies (formerly Harco Technology) as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented Windows desktop monitoring software (C++, WINAPI, TCP/IP, Multithreading). Since 2013, they have been working at Datactics as a Lead Software Engineer and Software Development Manager, managing Git repositories and mentoring junior members of the development team.

Martin Downey obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Business Studies from Queen's University Belfast between 1994 and 1999.
