Efren B. has over 20 years of work experience in software engineering. In 2021, they were a VP, Infrastructure Development, SRE Team Manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co. In 2018, they returned to DataDock Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer, a role they had previously held from 2022-2021. From 2015-2018, they were a Software Engineer at Comcast. From 2012-2015, they were a Software Engineer IV at the Solid State Systems Group at Cisco, and from 2012-2015 they were a Software Engineer at WHIPTAIL, which was later acquired by Cisco. From 2010-2009, they were a Software Developer at Gold Group Enterprises and RightClick Techs, LLC., respectively. Finally, from 2006-2001, they were a PHP Developer at Guardian Digital and an Integration Lab Intern at Dynamicsoft, which was later acquired by Cisco.

Efren B. attended Montclair State University from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a B.A. in English/Language Arts Teacher Education. Efren also attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2001, studying Computer Science.
