Adam Hooper

Adam Hooper is a highly experienced software engineer and technology leader with a strong background in journalism and software development. Since September 2022, Adam has served as a Senior Software Engineer at Datadog. Additionally, Adam has been the President of Overview Computing Inc. since January 2020, overseeing the hosting and maintenance of the website overviewdocs.com. As the Chief Technology Officer at Workbench since May 2018, Adam has played a key role in planning and developing workbenchdata.com. Adam's previous positions include Senior Software Engineer at G/O Media and Quartz, where Adam focused on building and maintaining news delivery infrastructure, as well as Lead Software Engineer and Front-end Engineer roles at Overview Services Inc. Adam began a freelance career as an interactive journalist in November 2011, combining storytelling and interactive coding. Adam holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Carleton University and a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from McGill University.
