Alexandre Normand

Alexandre Normand is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in multiple high-profile technology companies. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Datadog since April 2021, Alexandre previously held the position of Lead Software Engineer at Fitbit and contributed significantly to Opower as a Senior Software Engineer, where design and implementation of the company's first generation meter read storage and REST service were key achievements. Earlier experiences include software development roles at Nokia, where stability and performance of email features were enhanced, as well as contributions to the mobile messaging startup OZ Communications. Alexandre began a professional career as a Consultant at CGI, successfully integrating security frameworks. Alexandre holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Université du Québec à Rimouski and a college degree in Computer Science from Cégep de Matane.
