Anshuman Kumar

Anshuman Kumar is an accomplished design leader currently serving as SVP and Head of Design at Datadog since July 2025. Previously, Anshuman held the position of SVP and Head of Design at Asana from July 2021 to March 2025, overseeing a large design organization focused on creating tools that enhance team collaboration. At Google, Anshuman's tenure spanned from October 2015 to July 2021, where roles included leading design for AR Glasses and building the augmented reality design team. Anshuman's early career included contributions as a visiting faculty member at NID Bangalore and as the founder of Samarth Sansthan, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving India's handicrafts. Anshuman holds an M.Des in Interaction Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and has furthered education at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
