Colin Higgins

Colin Higgins is an experienced software engineer and open-source software developer with a diverse background in various programming languages and technologies. Since April 2019, Colin has been working at Datadog as an Open-Source Software Engineer. In addition, Colin is the owner and software engineer at Scion Software, LLC, focusing on consulting, contracting, and product development since August 2015. Previous roles include software engineering positions at Paylocity and Liazon, where responsibilities included implementing complex data imports and contributing to architecture and scalability efforts. Colin has also freelanced at Layerframe Studios and worked at LocalEdge, Algonquin Studios, Inc., and other organizations, honing skills in languages such as C#, JavaScript, and VB.NET. Colin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology - Application Software Development from Alfred State College, attained in 2011.
