Émile-Hugo Spir is a Senior Security Researcher at Datadog, where they design and deliver advanced detection mechanisms for security customers. Previously, they served as a Software Engineer and Security Engineer at Datadog and Sqreen, respectively, contributing significantly to threat detection systems and the In-App WAF. Émile-Hugo also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Orange, where they designed a secure firmware update mechanism for IoT devices, and held positions at IBM and GEOCONCEPT Group. They earned a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Ecole supérieure d'Informatique, Electronique et Automatique in 2018.
