Gabriele Tornetta

Gabriele Tornetta is a Senior Software Engineer at Datadog, focusing on implementing dynamic instrumentation capabilities for the Python runtime as part of the Live Debugging team since February 2021. Prior to this role, Gabriele was a Software Engineer at Avaloq Innovation Ltd, where responsibilities included maintaining and enhancing compilers for Avaloq DSLs used in business messaging, from August 2016 to January 2021. Gabriele’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow, where tutoring and teaching roles were fulfilled during studies from 2012 to 2016. Gabriele also holds an MSc in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics and a BSc in Physics from Sapienza Università di Roma, along with a HSK Level 1 in Mandarin from Confucio.
