Karen Delfau

Karen Delfau is an accomplished leader in technical program management and engineering enablement with extensive experience in both directorial and senior management roles. Currently serving as VP of Engineering Programs at Datadog since January 2021, Karen previously spent over a decade at Google, holding multiple senior program management positions that involved overseeing technical teams, operations, and strategic initiatives. Karen's tenure at Google included roles such as Chief of Staff for Financial Platforms and Payments, where responsibility encompassed team management and process re-engineering, and leading M&A technical integrations. Earlier career experience includes serving as VP of Development Services at DoubleClick and management roles in documentation and training at Sailfish Systems and Effix. Karen's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Leadership and Strategy from New York University and graduate certification in Technical and Scientific Communication from The American University of Paris.
