Sameeran Kunche

Sameeran Kunche is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in data science and machine learning. Currently employed at Datadog since May 2025, Sameeran previously held software engineering positions at Eppo and founded Convect, focusing on improving machine learning workflows. With significant experience as a senior data scientist at Intuit, Sameeran specialized in natural language processing and enhancing customer experience through machine learning applications. An earlier role as a data science fellow at Insight Data Science involved developing an ML application for targeted book descriptions. Sameeran's software engineering expertise was further demonstrated at Synthego Corporation, where development of a Django e-commerce portal resulted in substantial revenue growth. Sameeran holds a PhD and MS in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine and a BS in Bioengineering from UC San Diego.
