Scotty Ruane

Scotty Ruane has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Scotty is currently working as the Vice President Global People Operations at Datadog since December 2022. Prior to this, from September 2020 to December 2022, they served as the Head of People Operations and Systems at Celonis. From February 2019 to September 2020, Scotty worked as the Chief of Staff, People, and also as the Director, HR Operations at Medidata Solutions from March 2017 to September 2020. Before that, they held various roles at Avon, starting as the Senior Manager of HR Outsourcing from April 2011 to May 2012, followed by Director, HR Global Operations - PMO from May 2012 to March 2017. Scotty's earlier experience includes roles at IBM, where they worked as an HR Business Development Consultant from September 2009 to April 2011 and as an IBM Solution Architect - HR Solutions, Managed Business Process Services from October 2005 to September 2009. Scotty also worked in the Executive Compensation division of IBM's Global Business Services in various roles from October 2002 to October 2005. Scotty's career began at PwC, where they served as the Associate Director, Global HR - Special HR Projects and Global Partner Compensation from October 1988 to October 2002. Prior to that, they had roles at Best Programs as the HR Manager from 1987 to 1988 and at Young Presidents' Organization as the Office Manager from August 1985 to August 1987.

Scotty Ruane attended Marymount University from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, specializing in Marketing.
