Varun Mohapatra

Varun Mohapatra is a seasoned professional in corporate development, ventures, and new platforms, currently holding the title of Corp Dev, Ventures and New Platforms EMEA at Datadog since April 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Scout/Advisor at Recur Software, focusing on mission-critical vertical software companies, and contributing to product strategy and business operations at Cobalt. Varun was involved in major strategic initiatives at Cloudflare, including product strategy and M&A efforts. Earlier roles include investment and operational strategy at Target Global, an international VC firm, and TMT investment banking at Barclays Investment Bank, where Varun executed M&A and strategy projects. Varun holds an MSc in Risk Management & Financial Engineering from Imperial College London and an MEng in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Manchester.
