Brian Herbek

Brian Herbek has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brian began their career at Cisco in 1996 as a Field Technician and worked there until 1998. Brian then joined EDS as a Systems Administrator in 1999 and stayed there until 2002. In 2002, Brian joined Helio Solutions as a Principle Engineer and worked there until 2006. In the same year, they joined DataEndure as a Senior Systems Engineer and also worked as a Consultant at Visa. In 2006, Brian moved to CMT as a Principle Engineer and later took on the role of Senior Systems Engineer until 2009. Finally, they joined the Burning Man Project in 2010 as the Communications Chief. Overall, Brian has a strong background in systems engineering and has held key roles in various organizations throughout their career.

Brian Herbek attended the University at Albany, SUNY from 1992 to 1996. Brian studied Crimial Justice and Sociology during that time. Brian also obtained a certification in VSE Veritas NetBackup 9.x from Veritas Technologies LLC in March 2022.
