Tim Neale

Tim Neale is an accomplished professional in the field of digital agronomy and AgriTech, currently serving as the Managing Director of DataFarming since July 2017, a company recognized as Australia's Best AgriTech in 2023. Neale is also the President of AusAgriTech, advocating for the AgriTech sector in Australia. Previous roles include Principal Agricultural Consultant at Premise, Digital Agronomist at The Yield, and Senior Development Officer at the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries. As the founder and manager of Precision Agriculture, Neale established a firm specializing in GIS and agricultural technologies. Neale's career began with significant contributions as an Extension Agronomist with the Queensland Department of Primary Industries and as an Auxiliary Firefighter with the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service. Tim Neale holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Rural Technology and additional qualifications in Rural Extension and Workplace Training and Assessment from The University of Queensland and Dalby Ag College.
