Gil Baram, PhD, is a cyber strategy and policy expert who currently serves as a Research Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and a Senior Lecturer at Bar-Ilan University, where they developed courses on emerging technologies and cybersecurity. Previously, Gil held the position of Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst for the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, leading intelligence research and strategic reporting. Gil has also contributed as a Senior Research Fellow at various institutions, including the Blavatnik Interdisciplinary Cyber Research Center and the Social Cyber Institute. They completed their PhD in Strategic Decision-Making during Cyber Conflicts at Tel Aviv University, after obtaining both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields from the same institution.
