Monica Salmeri

Monica Salmeri has over 20 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Monica is currently the Head of Insurance at Datafolio, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at ConTe.it - Admiral Group, where they held various roles including Head of Business Development, Head of Indirect Channel Development, and Head of Corporate Governance. During their time at ConTe.it, they were responsible for developing traditional and online sales channels, managing compliance and risk, and overseeing product development. Monica also has experience working at Groupama Assicurazioni S.p.A. as a Senior Product Developer and at Allianz - Ras as a Corporate and Special Risk Underwriter. Before entering the insurance industry, they worked as an Assistant Researcher at Bocconi University, where they assisted in macroeconomics research projects. Throughout their career, Monica has demonstrated a strong understanding of insurance operations, risk management, and product development.

From 1993 to 1998, they attended Liceo scientifico E.Fermi Ragusa, where they obtained a Diploma di maturità scientifica.

From 1998 to 2003, they studied at Università Luigi Bocconi, completing a Laurea in economia e legislazione per l'impresa, a four-year degree program.

In 2010, they took the Toefl test at the Toefl institution.

In 2014, they participated in the TRINITY COLLEGE EXAM - GESE program.

From 2020 to 2022, they enrolled in SDA Bocconi, pursuing an Executive MBA degree with a specialization in Economy.
