Scott Deaton

Scott Deaton is the president of Dataforensics, a position held since January 2002, where responsibilities encompass daily operations, strategic planning, and software development aimed at enhancing client data management practices. Prior to this role, Scott served as vice president at Roof Express from June 2005 to July 2006, focusing on developing a comprehensive roof condition assessment software. Additionally, Scott worked as a visiting research scientist II at the Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2002 to May 2003, specializing in database design for neural network applications related to soil strength parameters. Earlier career experience includes a role as project engineer and engineering technician at FMSM Engineers from May 1993 to October 1998. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and MS in Geosystems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a BS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
