Gall Steinitz

Gall Steinitz has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, starting as a software engineer at VR-1 and moving on to senior positions at Fatbrain.com, Healinx, and NBCUniversal Media, LLC. Gall has also worked as CTO at greeting card and invitation startup cocodot, VP of Digital Engineering at Current TV, and VP of Engineering, Product & Innovation at Al Jazeera America. Steinitz's most recent position is as a Staff Engineer at DataGrail, where they started in 2023. Between 2015 and 2022, they worked at Stitch Fix as a Principal Engineer and Software Architect, Engineering Leader and at Shopify as a Sr. Staff Developer, where they worked on building Shopify's Shop Promise feature and advocated for best practices within the team.

Gall Steinitz's education history starts with completing a Computer Science Technical Engineer program at MAMRAM - Israeli Defense Forces in 1993. In the same year, Gall also completed a Software Developer Training "Bootcamp" at the same institution. From 1993 to 1996, Gall completed a Computer Science Associate Engineer program at MAMRAM - Israeli Defense Forces School of Computer Science. In 1997, Gall went on to obtain a degree in Information Systems Management from University of San Francisco's McLaren School of Management, which was completed in 2000.
