Jack McCracken

Jack McCracken has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Jack is currently working as a Staff Security Engineer at DataGrail since April 2023. Previously, they held positions at GitHub, where they were a Staff Product Security Engineer from February 2023 to March 2023 and a Staff Product Security Engineering Manager from March 2022 to February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Shopify in several capacities, including Manager of Application Security from October 2021 to February 2022, Senior Application Security Engineer from March 2020 to October 2021, and Application Security Engineer from May 2018 to March 2020. Jack also interned at Shopify in a security role from May 2017 to May 2018 and worked as a Data Intern from May 2016 to May 2017. Before their time at Shopify, Jack was a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University from September 2015 to December 2016. Jack also gained experience as a Software Developer at Boxkite from May 2015 to December 2015, where they worked on open-source projects and completed contract work.
