Jay Shah

Jay Shah has a diverse work experience spanning various technology companies. From 2020 to present, they worked at DataGrail, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and later moving on to become a Staff Software Engineer. Jay'sresponsibilities included developing the privacy platform and helping brands build privacy programs.

From 2017 to 2020, Jay worked at Sisense (previously Periscope Data) as a Software Engineer. Jay played a key role in building a modern data platform that enabled customers to analyze their data from different sources.

Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, Jay worked at Workday as a Software Development Engineer and later as a Software Application Engineer. Jay was responsible for building scalable systems for enterprise data and developing financial applications. Jay also served as a Test Automation Engineer, creating and maintaining automated tests.

In 2012, Jay worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Riverbed Technology, where they developed various tools and conducted tests to improve system performance.

In 2011, they interned as a Quality Assurance Intern at Splunk, where they performed manual and automated testing.

Before embarking on their career in technology, Jay worked as a Social Media Coordinator at UC Davis Coffee House, where they managed social media accounts and improved customer service through feedback.

Jay Shah attended the University of California, Davis from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications as a Triplebyte certified Generalist Software Engineer from Triplebyte in June 2019, and as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in August 2016.
