Daniel Carranza is a co-founder of DATA, a civil society organization focused on promoting Open Data, Transparency, and Freedom of Information since April 2012. Carranza operates as a self-employed consultant specializing in Open Government, eGovernment, and citizen participation tools based on Open Data. In addition to consulting for various organizations, including La Diaria and the World Bank Group, Carranza serves as a professor in postgraduate programs at Universidad de la República and the José Ortega y Gasset - Gregorio Marañón Foundation. Carranza's expertise encompasses digital communications, social media strategies, and digital leadership, reinforced by a degree in Communication Sciences from Universidad Católica del Uruguay and training in Web Design.
